When our whole school got to Patterson Park, we all needed to go on the full courts and listen to the instructions. After the instructions, I was preparing for the exciting netball game. In my team, the players were Kruz, Lavinia, Piper, Bella, Makayla, Sabriye, Olivia and I.
The loud horn blew so loudly my head was going to explode. Lining up on the court, we waited patiently until the netball players got off the court. We were versing Waipa. I was goal attack. My partner was Bethany. Luckily, I knew who she was. The not-so-loud whistle blew. Piper was centre. Piper spun it to me. I effortlessly passed it to Sabriye. She was goal shoot. I ran into the circle like lightning and Sabriye passed it back. Trying to throw the ball into the air into the ring, I missed.
“Oh, no!” I cried.
Waipa was throwing the ball. When Waipa threw the ball to a player, I ran up and I caught it. Jumping into the air, Makayla caught the ball. She passed it to Lavinia.
“Danget.” I said.
The game ended. I was huffing and puffing.
